Nowadays you can’t introduce a flagship phone without offering a mini version can you? Just yesterday we heard that Sony is going to introduce the Xperia Z1 Mini (codenamed the Honami Mini) in the coming months. Now we have a little more evidence. The above image is believed to be the Z1 Mini. If you guessed that smaller one that’s colored purple, you are right. Boy, you catch on quickly.

Usually mini versions don’t sport the greatest specs, but Sony is packing a lot in this bad boy. The display is going to be 4.3-inches and 720p, but it’s going to sport the Snapdragon 800, 2GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, and the same 20.7MP G Lens found in the Xperia Z1.

I think it’s a safe bet that we will see it at CES in January. This just might be the best dang 4.3-inch phone on the market next year.
