Earlier a Nexus device was spotted in a Google video
regarding the KitKat statue, which was quickly assumed as being the
Nexus 5. Adding to the speculation was the fact that Google pulled the
video. Still, the big question on everyone’s mind is who is making the
device? We have heard both LG and Motorola in the past, but we still
don’t have any concrete evidence. That could be because neither company
is the chosen one.
If you look closely at the leaked phone, it very well could be based on the upcoming Sony Xperia Z1. This comes from a Google+ post by Chris Winkley. He had heard Sony was making the next Nexus and quickly pointed out that both the leaked phone and the Xperia Z1 sport the same placement of the lens and flash. Now, we did hear that the next Nexus will look similar to the Nexus 7, so the fact that the lens is in the top left corner doesn’t prove that Sony is making the device, but looking at both phones side-by-side, it makes a lot of sense.
What do you guys think?
